Many people ask me how I come up with my designs, my thinking process. It is quite an interesting question to respond to, because I don’t really know. What I know is that I certainly think outside the box naturally and always have; from the way I coordinate my clothes to how I present the food I cook; because it matters, because I care and recognize that it makes that much of a difference.

There are two things I recognize that set the difference: presentation and originality. Presentation meaning that it has to effortlessly invite compliments, and originality meaning whether the design is simple, complex, subtle or bold, it has to have and hold that wow effect to my standards. It also has to be very well executed to the last stroke. This is how I think; basically when it is done I should not be surprised at the compliments. I am my own biggest critic, which I think it is beneficial because I always execute wholeheartedly knowing that my name is behind it.
